I SWEAR is a frank, funny and touching story based on the life of Tourette syndrome campaigner John Davidson.

Davidson grew up with the condition in 1980s Scotland, at a time when it was little known and misunderstood.

Featuring outstanding performances from Robert Aramayo, Peter Mullan, Shirley Henderson and Maxine Peake, I SWEAR is a moving drama about the transformative power of friendship and community.

We screen ten monhtly films a year, from September through June. The current licensing landscape makes it difficult to plan for/book films too far in advance, so we’ve adopted a month-to-month model. This allows us to keep quite current in our programming. Any upcoming films displayed below.

The Ballad of Wallis Island

The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musicians, Mortimer-McGwyer (Carey Mulligan and Tom Basden) back together. His fantasy quickly turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.
